BIOGRAPHY

Koo was born in 1958 as the fourth son of LG Group honorary chairman Koo Cha-kyung, the eldest son of group founder Koo In-hwoi.
He has been in charge of Heeseong Electronics, a key affiliate of Heeseong Group led by brother Bon-neung, before stepping up as the vice chairman of LG group.
​He has five siblings: LG Group chairman Bon-moo, Heeseong Group chairman and Korea Baseball Organization Commissioner Bon-neung, LG Electronics CEO and vice chairman Bon-joon, and two sisters.
