[THE INVESTOR] POSCO CEO Kwon Oh-joon will be questioned on Nov. 11 over allegations that Choi Soon-sil’s associates attempted to take over a former POSCO subsidiary.

Choi Soon-sil’s associate Cha Eun-taek and his associate and former Korea Creative Content Agency chief Song Sung-gak have been accused of attempting to take over POREKA, an advertising agency associated with POSCO.

Cha and Song are accused of threatening the chief of a small agency selected as the preferred bidder for POREKA sometime in the second quarter of last year. At the time, Cha and Song are said to have threatened the CEO of the preferred bidder, identified by the surname Han, with tax audits.

Han, however, refused to back down.

In addition, former presidential aide Ahn Chong-bum has claimed that he aided Cha and Song’s attempt after President Park Geun-hye mentioned the sale of POREKA.
