Samsung Electronics topped online TV sales in the US, selling four out of its 10 TVs online, a report showed on Nov. 24.
The world’s top TV maker retained the top spot for the January-September period, with its market sahre reaching 39.9 percent, according to the report by research firm 1010 data.
Its smaller South Korean rival LG Electronics came third with an 11.1-percent market share.
Vizio of the U.S. came in second with a 17.5-percent share, followed by China-based TCL with 4.5 percent, the report showed.
The report said online TV sales could surge during the holiday season in November and December.
