[
THE INVESTOR] ABC Mart Korea has decided to push going public until the first half of 2017, according to news reports on Nov. 30.
The South Korean operation of the Japanese footwear retailer has passed the preliminary assessment to be listed on KOSPI earlier this month, and was expected to complete the IPO this year. The assessment is valid for six months.
The rescheduling, securities experts say, is mainly due to the precarious stock market that has been hit by a number of debacles here and abroad, shrinking investor sentiment.
