[THE INVESTOR] Dongbu Daewoo Electronics announced on Dec. 5 that its small-sized home appliances will start selling at Japan’s Yamada Denki Outlet chains.

The outlets are under the umbrella of Yamada Denki, the largest electronics retailer in Japan, and will stock Dongbu’s 240-liter refrigerator, 7-kilogram washing machine and 19-liter microwave oven, targeting the market known for its preference for home appliances that take minimum space.

The South Korean electronics company has sold a smaller washing machine and refrigerators through a partnership with BIC Camera, the second-largest home appliance retailer in 2013.
