[THE INVESTOR] SKINFOOD announced on Dec. 20 that its beauty products will available at over 220 outlets of UK drugstore chain Boots in February 2017.

The firm is selling its best-selling items, including Black Sugar Perfect Essential Scrub 2X and Black Sugar Cleansing Cream, in the UK.

The beauty and health giant is the largest retail pharmacy in the US and Europe, with more than 2,500 retail spots across the world.
SKINFOOD will expand its presence in Europe in March 2017, the company said, as it is scheduled to introduce its product range at over 700 Sephora stores in 17 European countries.

This might serve as a breakthrough for the 12-year-old South Korean cosmetics company that has taken the better-priced cosmetics market by storm with its food-themed beauty items and boasted dominating market share by the early 2010s.

Since 2014, though, its revenue has been falling. Last year it posted sales of 169.2 billion won (US$142.02 million) in 2015, ranking eighth. Its profitability has deteriorated as well and its operating loss came in at 12.9 billion won in 2015.
