[THE INVESTOR] Juun. J, an established South Korean brand under the umbrella of Samsung C&T’s fashion division, has debuted at Harrods in London with a pop-up store, said the company on Dec. 20.

The temporary boutique at the storied department store will be open for two months and feature the globally recognized brand’s 2016 Fall/Winter Collection and 2017 Spring/Summer Collection as well as a collaborative project with Japanese illustrator Sorayama Hajime.

Ever since he opened a small design studio in 1999 for a menswear range named Lone Costume, Jung Wook Jun has gathered a loyal following and critical acclaim. He launched his namesake label Juun. J in 2007 and has been participating in the Paris menswear fashion show. In 2012 the brand was included in the stable of Samsung C&T (then Cheil Industries).

Juun. J has also delighted his fans with a number of collaborative projects with partners ranging from Adidas and Speedo to Moleskin.

“His retro-futuristic designs have an edgy feel and speak to the 21st-century generation,” said legendary fashion critic Suzy Menkes during her visit to Seoul last year.

Juun. J is available at 125 shops in 30 countries across the world.
