[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics topped the Russian handset market in November with a 20.1 percent share, market research firm GfK Group said on Dec. 26.
The Korean tech giant has kept the No. 1 spot since November last year, with its share soaring to 24.4 percent in August.
But its share has slighly fallen in recent months following the discontinuation of the fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 smartphone over safety concerns.
Apple came second with its share more than doubling to 12.4 percent compared to a year ago largely due to the latest iPhone 7 launch.
China's Huawei was first included into the top-seller list with 8.6 percent share.
Lenovo, which was the second-biggest handset maker with 13.7 percent share in November last year, saw its market share fall to 7.4 percent last month.
