[THE INVESTOR] Cosmetics brand Nature Republic announced on Dec. 28 that it will hold a shareholders meeting to formally appoint Ho Jong-hwan, former sales chief of its bigger rival AmorePacific, as its new CEO.

Ho, a cosmetologist with 35 years experience, joined AmorePacific, the nation's largest beauty company, in the 1983. In 2005, he moved to Etude, one of the company's flagship brands, and served as head of domestic and overseas sales until 2012

Nature Republic plans to utilize Ho as a focal point to expand its domestic operations as well as its overseas markets such as China and the US.
