Taihan Electric Wire’s W67b Qatar contract canceled
[DISCLOSURE] Taihan Electric Wire (001440) announced on Jan. 11 that Kahramaa, or Qatar General Electricity and Water Corp., has terminated the 67 billion won (US$55.78 million) contract to supply 220kV ultra-high voltage cable.
The company said that Kahramaa had notified the cancellation the day before. The deal was signed in April 2014, and the terminated contract is equivalent to 2.7% of its 2013 revenue.
