[THE INVESTOR] The Financial Supervisory Service has put a 10 million won (US$8,631) bounty on voice phishing suspects.

On Jan. 26, the FSS posted recordings of five suspects on its anti-voice phishing website (phishing-keeper.fss.or.kr) and placed a 10 million won bounty for information leading to their arrest.

The FSS first revealed recordings of the voice phishing suspects on its website in May 2016, using recordings provided by the public.

The five suspects whose voices were revealed on Jan. 26 are said to have been reported to the authorities on multiple occasions, with one having been reported on at least six occasions.
