[THE INVESTOR] Hyundai BNG Steel CEO Chung Il-sun has been fined 3 million won (US$2,600) for abusing his chauffeurs, the Seoul Central District Court revealed on Feb. 1.

Chung, a member of the Hyundai family, was charged with violating labor laws after it was revealed that he had treated his chauffeurs unfairly.

The Hyundai scion is said to have hired 61 drivers over a three-year period, making them work for 56 hours a week. The chauffeurs were also given a 140-page manual detailing their duties, and even a code of conduct they were required to follow when interacting with him.

In addition, Chung is also said to have assaulted one of the drivers.
