Memebox appoints new Korea chief

[THE INVESTOR] Memebox, a South Korean e-commerce company specializing in beauty products, announced on Feb. 15 that it has appointed Lee Kang-wook as its new domestic representative. 




Lee, who has worked for Boston Consulting Group and Credit Suisse, will be in charge of all the operations in Korea, while the company’s former representative Ha Heung-suk will become the CEO of global operations.

Memebox was established in 2012 as a distributor of beauty products for its own brand as well as other cosmetics companies in Korea. In 2016, the company expanded its business into the global market including the US, China and Southeast Asia.
