Nature Republic’s Myeongdong branch still priciest in Korea

[THE INVESTOR] The site of South Korean beauty brand Nature Republic’s branch in Myeongdong, Seoul remained at the top of the real estate price list for the 14th consecutive year, according to the Ministry of Land and Transportation’s data released on Feb. 22.




The prime property in the middle of the downtown shopping district boasted the price of 86 million won (US$75,293) per square meter, up 3.5 percent on-year, making the 169.3 square meters occupied by the store worth 14.56 billion won by officially assessed land price. 

The top 10 most expensive real estate were in the capital city, and were above 70 million won per square meter.
