[GRAPHIC NEWS] Consumers buy less cosmetics
[THE INVESTOR] Credit card spending on cosmetics products reached 3.3 trillion won last year, a drop of 2.99 percent from the previous year, statistics from the Bank of Korea showed on Feb. 22. It was the first drop since the BOK began to collect the related data in 2004.
The BOK data showed that credit card spending on entertainment and luxury also declined amid the economic crunch.
