LG launches new ‘black edition’ of G6
[THE INVESTOR] Tech giant LG Electronics launched a “black edition” of its latest G6 smartphone on March 29, hoping to take on Samsung Electronics’ new flagship model.
While LG earlier released the G6 smartphone in solid white, platinum and black, the latest “black edition” that will be sold by South Korea’s No. 2 mobile carrier KT will have a dual color scheme with either platinum or white colors on the back.
LG Electronics also said around 1,000 local buyers of the G6 smartphone will be provided with its latest smartwatch, the LG Watch Sports in April.
The LG Watch Sports, released earlier this month, runs on the Android platform and is IP68 certified, making it both water and dust resistant.
