[
THE INVESTOR] The US has imposed anti-dumping and countervailing duties of 11.17 percent on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate imports from South Korea’s steel giant
POSCO on March 30.
The decision came after three American steel firms filed a complaint that POSCO and other firms from 12 nations dumped CTL plates in the US market at lower than market prices while receiving illegal government subsidies.
On March 30, the Department of Commerce set anti-dumping and countervailing duties for POSCO products at 7.39 percent and 4.31 percent, respectively.
