Samsung Electronics has topped the list favored workplace by college students and job seekers here, data showed on April 17.
According to the survey conducted by online job portal Saramin, around 14 percent of local job seekers said they wished to be employed at Korea’s No. 1 electronics firm. The survey was conducted on 1,693 job seekers.
The country’s top carmaker
Hyundai Motor fell a notch on-year to 10.2 percent, trailed by state utility firm
Korea Electric Power Corp. with 6.6 percent.
Other major companies included No. 2 home appliance maker
LG Electronics and top steelmaker
Posco, which posted 4.8 percent and 2.9 percent, respectively.
