[
THE INVESTOR] The Export-Import Bank of Korea said on April 18 that it will provide US$520 million in a project financing loan for the construction of a power plant in Indonesia.
Indonesia is building the 1,000-megawatt coal-fired power plant in Cirebon, a port city on Java Island. The Korea Midland Power and Samtan of South Korea are part of the consortium in the 25-year build-transfer-operate project.
The state-run policy bank previously has extended US$570 million in loans to four separate power plant constructions in Indonesia.
