THE INVESTOR] Korea’s exports increased 4.5 percent in the first 10 days of May from a year, latest customs data showed May 11.
Total outbound shipments reached US$9.7 billion during the cited period, up from US$9.3 billion tallied over the same period last year, according to the data compiled by the Korea Customs Service.
The increase was led by a 117.8-percent on-year gain in exports of petroleum goods and a 43-percent surge for chips.
