LG to launch home electronics with Google AI
[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said on May 18 that it plans to apply US tech giant Google‘s artificial intelligence program to its premium home electronics.
During a showcase event held in the US, the Korean appliance manufacturer demonstrated its purifier activated by voice command via Google Home platform.
LG said it plans to apply the technology to other premium home appliances, such as washers and refrigerators.
The company said under the system, users will be allowed to check the remaining time for washers or order refrigerators to make ice simply by voice.
