Samsung unveils Galaxy S8 in China
[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics said on May 19 it has held a showcase event of the flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone in China.
Along with black, gray and blue, the Galaxy S8 in China will also come in gold, which was not introduced in Korea. The official sale in China will start May 25.
“Since tapping the market in 1992, China has been a major market for Samsung for 25 years,” said Koh Dong-jin, president of Samsung’s mobile communications business.
Koh said he hopes the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus will help the brand become beloved in China.
