[THE INVESTOR] The number of Chinese inbound tourists will start increasing from the third quarter, forecast Shinhan Financial Investment on May 23, maintaining an “overweight” recommendation for travel, duty-free and casino industries.

The inbound tourism from China which has been hit by the THAAD row will perk in July and August, according to analyst Seong Jun-won who said the Chinese government will ease restrictions.

The number of tourists in the second quarter will be down 60 percent on-year but will slowly rise, said the analyst.
