The retail giant, borrowing the concept of pop-up stores, will let customers personally experience staying at the global home-sharing service provider’s actual lodgings in Europe and Indonesia at its outlets from June 15 for 1 1/2 months.
“We have been looking for contents that would appeal to young customers and decided to partner with Airbnb, a service frequented by the young travelers … and to offer a differentiated experience,” said a Shinsegae official.
For more local taste of the experience, visitors can also enjoy a massage and Indonesian coffee, said an Airbnb official adding that the “hosts” of the spaces will share their “stories” and tourist recommendations.
