[
THE INVESTOR] China has blacklisted 24 Korean manufacturers and exporters, a local trade promotion association said on June 16.
The revelation of the list by the Korea International Trade Association is a fresh blow to local companies already hurt by Chinese economic retaliation over the deployment of THAAD missile system.
The blacklisted companies include 14 manufacturers and 10 exporters of South Korean food items and cosmetics, KITA said. It cited statistics from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China.
The Korean firms are among 414 foreign and 217 Chinese companies also put on the same list.
