THE INVESTOR] Export prices of Korean semiconductors hit a 30-month high in June, data showed on July 14.
The export price index of semiconductors came to 48.79 last month, the highest since December 2014, when it stood at 49.05, according to data compiled by the Bank of Korea.
The hike came amid improved exports of the information and technology industry.
Exports of the mainstay DRAM rose 0.6 percent in June from a month earlier.
The BOK data also showed that exports of flash memory chips -- mainly used in smartphones and other mobile devices -- edged up 1.9 percent during the same period.
