[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics on July 24 introduced five different Internet of Things sensors that can be utilized at homes.
The five different sensors, respectively, detect water leaks, smoke, carbon monoxide, doors and movement. The products are available for purchase at LG’s local retail shops.
The IoT devices connect to SmartThinQ, a mobile application developed by LG Electronics used to control home appliances.
The price tag of the new sensors range from 32,000 won (US$28.60) to 66,000 won.
