[THE INVESTOR] Korean artificial intelligence startup Deepvalidation has recently raised a combined 400 million won (US$387,820) from multiple investors, including Kakao-owned venture capital K Cube Ventures.

Deepvalidation, founded in June this year, carries out diverse data analysis projects based on AI technology. Its five founders are graduates of the University of California, Berkeley, and Yale University.

With the latest funding, the company plans to develop a new platform that analyzes a vast amount of data on fashion available on the Web and offer personalized fashion curation and styling services.

The company said it would expand strategic partnership and joint projects with fashion companies as well as attracting more experts on data analysis and AI technology.

Other investors who participated in the funding campaign included home shopping channel operator GS Home Shopping and C.Camp, a startup accelerator based in Seoul that is also mentoring Deepvalidation.
