Hanjin Heavy decides on US$70m debt-equity swap
[DISCLOSURE] Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction (097230) announced on Sept. 21 that it has decided to convert its Filipino subsidiary HHIC-Phil’s US$70.0 million debt into equity “to decrease the amount of loan and to improve financial health of the subsidiary.”
This amounts to 8.84 percent of its equity capital.
