[THE INVESTOR] JYP Entertainment’s earnings prospects may be brighter as its girl group Twice returns, said Hana Financial Investment on Oct. 23, maintaining a “buy” recommendation and raising the target price to 15,500 won (US$13.69) from 14,000 won.

If Twice sells up to 300,000 singles in Japan, as predicted by the media, it will be the best-selling single ever for a Korean idol group, topping the record of TVXQ!, said analyst Lee Gi-hun.

The analyst slightly lowered his estimates for third-quarter revenue and operating profit to 18.6 billion won and 3.1 billion won, respectively.
JYP’s fourth-quarter earnings will be a record high awith 6.9 billion won operating profit, forecast Lee.

Despite the possibility of earnings and valuation increase its stock price is still undervalued, added the analyst.
