[THE INVESTOR] Korean tech giant LG Electronics has opened a new distribution center for home appliances in the United States, industry sources said on Nov. 13.
The 410,000-square feet center in East Windsor, New Jersey, will act as a distribution hub, they said.
LG will store refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, washing machines and dryers there and deliver them to dealers on the East Coast, they said.
Earlier, the company announced that it will construct a new home appliance manufacturing facility in Tennessee and an electric-vehicle parts facility in Hazel Park, near the industrial city of Detroit.
