[THE INVESTOR]  Netmarble Games will reap more earnings in North America and Europe as “Lineage 2: Revolution” gains a foothold, said Korea Investment and Securities on Nov. 20, maintaining a “buy” recommendation and 220,000 won (US$199.82) target price.

The game was launched in 54 countries on Nov. 15 and despite being unfriendly markets it has been relatively successful, securing itself among the top 25 in the US and top three in Russia by revenue, said analyst Kim Seong-eun.

It could be disappointing, compared to its performance in Asia where it stormed to the top upon release, but considering that the results are better than those of its previous like “Summoner’s War,” the revenue is likely to grow, according to the analyst.

The success of “Lineage 2: Revolution” would be a bellwether for other MMORPGs and “Tera M” a 3-D game set to be released on Nov. 28 is drawing expectations and will strengthen the company’s upward momentum, said Kim.
