Aekyung sets up base in Shanghai
[THE INVESTOR] Aekyung, a major Korean household and personal care products maker, announced on Nov. 29 that it has established an affiliate in Shanghai, China.
Through the new unit, the company plans to expand its presence in the world’s No. 2 economy.
Aekyung said it set up the wholly owned affiliate four years after it first entered the country with a liaison office in Guangzhou.

The company said its sales in China have been rapidly expanding, having posted 42 percent growth in 2015 and 112 percent expansion in 2016.
