Housings construction boom is continuing in the North American region, which accounts for 70 percent of its sales, and the firm’s revenue has been significantly rising. The uptrend will continue next year, said analyst Cho Cheol-heui.

Doosan Bobcat has successfully improved efficiency in manufacturing and management through a three-year long restructuring and is seeking to tackle Europe through rolling out a new mini excavator, the largest segment in compact construction equipment market, said the analyst.

As it will transfer its medium-to-large excavator unit to Doosan Infracore, its revenue will be reduced by approximately 700 billion won next year, nevertheless, its 2018 operating profit will rise 6.5 percent on-year and net profit by 23 percent as it refinances borrowings, added Cho.

Doosan Bobcat will maintain earnings growth into next year, said Korea Investment and Securities on Dec. 5, suggesting a “buy” recommendation and 45,000 won target price.
