POSCO E&C wins W50b order in Africa
[THE INVESTOR] POSCO Engineering & Construction has won a 50 billion won (US$46 million) order to build a motorway in Mozambique, the company said on Dec. 11.
POSCO E&C signed the deal with the Mozambique government last month to transform the current 70-kilometer-long non-paved road into a two-lane asphalt motorway for the next 30 months, the company said in a statement.
It is the first construction project won by POSCO E&C in Africa since the company’s foundation 23 years ago, it said.
