[THE INVESTOR] LS Industrial Systems will continue to grow this year, said Samsung Securities on Jan. 8, raising the target price to 86,000 won (US$80.94) from 76,000 won.

It will benefit from the government’s shift in power generation to new renewable energy, and as the plan leans heavily on solar power, its orders will increase, forecast analyst Yang Ji-hye.

The pending rise in electricity fares for industrial use will lead to higher demand in energy saving systems for companies and its convergence business sector will reach break-even point faster than expected, noted the analyst.

The company will begin to grow in earnest as it completes streamlining strategic infrastructure division and wins high voltage DC orders, while power equipment and automation departments will generate cash, she added.
