[THE INVESTOR] YG Plus announced on Jan. 17 that it has opened an outlet of its cosmetics brand Moonshot at T Galleria, operated by global duty-free operator DFS Group, in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

T Galleria sells over 50 global cosmetics brands such as Estee Lauder, Dior and Lancome. Moonshot was launched by YG Plus -- a subsidiary of YG Entertainment -- in June 2015.

Before opening a store in T Galleria, YG Plus distributed Moonshot in Hong Kong and Macau through a local drug store Sasa.

“This year, we expect to see some results from our steady investments and efforts that we have been putting for overseas expansion,” YG Plus said in a statement.

The company opened three Moonshot stores last year at Sunway Pyramid, One Utama and Pavilion Mall in Malaysia. It also distributes its Moonshot products through 14 Sephora store in the country and is now aiming to enter more countries including Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines this year.

Furthermore, the firm also hopes to expand in China, saying that 110 Moonshot products have already received sanitary licenses for selling in the country.
