[THE INVESTOR] Korean fintech startup SSenStone said on Feb. 9 it had been named one of the top five security solutions firms by Money20/20 Asia, the Asian edition of the world’s largest fintech and payments event to be held March 13-15 in Singapore.
The firm plans to unveil its brand new Dynamic One-Time Authentication technology, which improves security of credit card transactions drastically, during the Singapore event.
“We started developing the Dynamic One-Time Authentication technology for global markets from the beginning,” said SSenStone founder and CEO Yoo Chang-hoon. He added the firm was already in talks with some global partners to supply the solution.
SSenStone, established in 2015, develops next-generation authentication solutions and its first product StonePASS has been adopted by diverse public organizations, financial firms and other big companies in Korea.
Last year, Lee Joon-ho, former chief information security officer at Naver, joined the firm as co-CEO.
