[THE INVESTOR] Kia Motors on March 7 unveiled rendering images of its all-new K9 flagship sedan ahead of its domestic launch in the second quarter.

Under the concept “Gravity of Prestige,” the fully revamped K9 sedan has four prominent crease lines across the hood that lend some aggressive character to its swoopy shape, Kia said in a statement.

The large car carries Kia’s tiger nose corporate grille, a strong bumper incorporating large air intake vents and multibeam LED headlamps. It also has a bold character line that runs up along the sides that Kia claims exudes both power and elegance.

At the rear, the side character line trails into the back and merges with the rear lamp graphics. The roof has a bit of a fastback look, ending at the trunk lid.

The “luxury owner-driven concept” comes with a set of advanced safety features such as lane following assist, blind spot view monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist and navigation-based smart cruise control. NSCC automatically slows down the car’s speed while driving through a curve, the statement said.
