[THE INVESTOR] SK Networks, the trading and hotel unit under SK Group, said on March 15 it has signed a deal to set up a joint venture with Japanese air purifier maker Cado.
Under the deal SK Networks said it will hold a 49 percent stake in the JV, with Cado owning the remainder.
The JV is set to release hair dryers in the fourth quarter before rolling out three hair stylers next year.
SK Networks said it plans to develop premium beauty appliance products through the JV and expand its market at home and abroad.
