[THE INVESTOR] Korean network solutions provider Dasan Networks said on March 20 that it has set up a joint venture, TL International, with Italian luxury brand Tonino Lamborghini.

Tonino Lamborghini, founded by Tonino Lamborghini, son of Lamborghini founder Ferrucio Lamborghini, is a global lifestyle brand selling products inspired by the Italian super car maker. 

The Alpha One Lamborghini phone

Dasan holds 70 percent stake in the firm, while Tonino Lamborghini owns the rest. The JV owns the exclusive sales rights to IT devices launched under the Tonino Lamborghini brand.

The JV is an extension of their existing partnership. Last year, Dasan launched Alpha One, the Lamborghini-inspired smartphone with a price tag of 2.5 million won (US$2,334.70).

On the day, Dasan said it plans to sell Alpha One in Vietnam from this month.
