[THE INVESTOR] Local importer of vehicle made by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Toyota Motor will voluntarily recall more than 531 vehicles to fix faulty parts, the Transport Ministry said on April 5.
It is the latest in a series of recall measures being undertaken by carmakers and importers to ensure their vehicles meet current safety rules.
The two companies plan to recall four different models totaling 531 vehicles, the ministry said in a statement.
The models include the Jeep Wrangler off-road capable vehicles imported by FCA and the Lexus RC F luxury sports coupe, it said.
The problems include a faulty part in the switch of a braking lamp in the Wrangler and malfunctioning of pulsation dampers in the high-pressure fuel pump in the Lexus RC F, the statement said.
Vehicle owners can now visit designated repair and service centers to have the parts replaced free of charge, it said.
