Kakao invests W154b in Kakao Bank
[DISCLOSURE] Kakao (035720) announced on April 18 that it will acquire 30.8 million shares of Kakao Bank at 154 billion won (US$144.52 million) by participating in the bank’s capital raise.
This amounts to 2.77 percent of its equity capital and the due date for acquisition is April 25.
Kakao will own 18 percent stake (46.8 million shares) in the bank after the acquisition.
