[THE INVESTOR] Three carmakers will voluntarily recall more than 3,700 vehicles to fix faulty parts, the government here said on May 10.

It is the latest in a series of recalls by carmakers and importers to ensure their vehicles meet current safety rules. The three automakers are Hyundai Motor, Mercedes-Benz and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said in a statement.

The carmakers plan to recall 32 different models totaling 3,723 vehicles. The models are the Genesis G80 sedan, Mercedes-Benz’s C200 sedan and FCA’s 300C sedan, it said.

The problems include weak adhesive in the window frames of the G80 and C200 models and a lack of qualifications for local sale for the 300C sedan, the statement said.

Vehicle owners can visit designated repair and service centers to have the parts replaced free of charge, it said.
