LG Electronics hands over OLED chip biz to affiliate
[DISCLOSURE] LG Electronics (066570) announced on May 29 that it will hand over entire assets and personnel related to T-Con chips for OLED TVs to its affiliate Silicon Works “to promote management efficiency for engineering semiconductor chips.”
The deal amounts to 48.0 billion won (US$44.37 million) and due date for transaction is July 1.
