[THE INVESTOR] KB Kookmin Bank said on June 20 it will roll out a debit card and a savings program this week that feature K-pop sensation BTS.

The debit card and installment savings account will be available until the end of this year, according to the bank.

The new products target very young customers who are not eligible to own their own credit cards, bank officials said, adding that they will offer diverse benefits, such as giving extra special interest rates for customers who deposit money on the boy band’s debut day and members’ birthdays.

In January, BTS signed a one-year promotional contract with the bank and has starred in the company‘s video advertisements, which have over 80 million views on YouTube so far.

BTS made history last month, when its “Love Yourself: Tear” album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, making the group the first K-pop act to make it to the top the prestigious chart.
