[THE INVESTOR] Kia Motors on July 24 launched the upgraded Sportage sport utility vehicle in the domestic market to help boost sales.
The Bold model comes in three versions, one with a 2.0-liter diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission, the second with a 1.6 diesel engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission, and the third with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, Kia said in a statement.
The facelifted Sportage SUV is equipped with the highway driving assist system and other safety features, such as the front collision avoidance and driver awareness warning and lane keeping assist systems, it said.
The model is priced at 24 million won (US$21,000) to 30 million won depending on options.
