[THE INVESTOR] Hyundai Motor and the importer of General Motors’ premium brand Cadillac models will voluntarily recall vehicles to fix faulty parts, the transport ministry said on July 25.

It is the latest in a series of recalls by carmakers and importers to ensure vehicles meet safety requirements.

The two companies plan to recall two different models totaling 2,833 vehicles. The models are Hyundai’s Sonata midsize sedan and the Cadillac CT6 sedan, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said in a statement.

The problems needing to be fixed are the Sonata’s malfunctioning air bag system and the Cadillac CT6’s car seats, the statement said.

Vehicle owners can visit designated repair and service centers to have the parts replaced free of charge, it said.
