Naver’s operating profit down 12% in Q2
[THE INVESTOR] Naver said on July 26 its second-quarter operating profit decreased 12.1 percent from a year earlier.
Operating profit reached 250.6 billion won (US$222 million) in the April-June period, compared with 285.2 billion won posted a year earlier, Naver said in a regulatory filing.
Net profit, on the other hand, advanced 83.1 percent to 314 billion won. Sales jumped 20.7 percent to 1.36 trillion won.
Shares of Naver closed at 746,000 won on July 25, up 0.13 percent from the previous session.
