[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said on Aug. 14 it will showcase an upgraded version of its Styler garment-care appliance equipped with artificial intelligence at the upcoming Internationale Funkausstellung tech fair in Berlin.

The home appliances giant said it will promote the LG Styler ThinQ at the IFA, which will kick off later this month. ThinQ is LG Electronics’ brand of products equipped with AI technology.

The Styler will become the third home appliance released by LG Electronics with advanced AI features, following its new air conditioner and washer models.

The company said users can activate the LG Styler ThinQ only through voice and receive notifications on the progress.

For example, a user can order the Styler to activate the standard caring course, and the product will reply, “Starting the standard course. This will take around 39 minutes.”

LG Electronics earlier released the steam clothes refresher in 13 countries, including Korea, the United States, China, Japan, and Germany.
